Continuing our SXSW series with The Macallan we went to Gardner (an East Austin newcomer) for our second #breakfastclub in Austin. Chef/owner Andrew Wiseheart and owner Ben Edgerton created a wholesome and locally sourced breakfast that they loved so much it then inspired thoughts to launch brunch menu. With items like Short ribs with scrambled eggs & hollandaise as well as Grits with mushrooms, Contigo prosciutto, maple syrup and homemade english muffins we can see why! Horchata and The Macallan cocktails were served alongside Cuvee Coffee as guests gathered at a table planted with loose soil and succulents and pyrite.
